Barbecue Chicken flavored Homemade Dog Biscuits.

We were surfing the net the other day and then we came across this!!! Something called Dog Treat Kitchen... It got us very excited... and now we're wondering if we can convince Mummy to make these for us...

Barbecue Chicken flavored Homemade Dog Biscuits!!!!!!!

How do they put barbequed chicken in BISCUITS!!???

Anyways, we've cut and pasted the entire recipe here to be shared with all our pawfriends. Perhaps we can convince Mummy to make them for us!!! =)

The sweet smell of summer brings to mind lazy days, fun filled activities and Barbecue! Never leave your dog out of the festivities again, bake his own chicken BBQ dog treats.

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup rye flour
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup barbecue sauce, low or sugar free
1/4 cup safflower oil (see note above)
1 cup chicken broth
Additional Flour for Rolling

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375° F. In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, wheat germ, rye flour and cornmeal. In a medium bowl, stir together the barbecue sauce, oil and broth.
Pour the BBQ sauce mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until thoroughly combined. Knead the dough and roll to 1/4 inch thickness. Using a cookie cutter, cut out the dog biscuits. Place the biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Storing - You can store these chicken and barbecue homemade dog biscuits in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks and in the freezer for up to 6 months. For more information regarding how to store dog treats please review our tips and techniques.

Yield - This will depend on the size of cookie cutter you use. This batch should give you a yield of about 2 dozen when you use a 1 inch dog cookie cutter.

JUST FOR US!!!

Spot My Daddy!

Today me and Ally went out with Daddy and Mummy to a place that felt like so far away. It was a good hour's drive out somewhere northern - Daddy said the place was called Tapah. I really dont know - but I love to go kai kai - so we just tagged along.

And as we got there, we took a drive towards the inside of the site. And then Daddy suddenly got down... "WAIT FOR ME DADDY! I WANNA GO DOWN TOO!!!"

But Daddy said no - and he needed to scout the path.

So I watched attentively from the car to make sure Daddy's ok...

Mmmm... but where's Daddy???

Can you see my Daddy???

xoxo,
Fatty
